How It works
How many day a week will my dog attend?
We suggest enrolling your dog in one to two recurring day training days a week for best results.
How long will they attend?
A generalized estimate at the amount of time needed to get maximum results would likely be around six months. Some dogs make progress in just three months if you are practicing at home.
Who will they work with?
Your dog will work with the same certified professional dog training each day they attend.
What is the dog to trainer ratio?
We never have more than four dogs to one trainer in the program.
What will my dog do when the trainer is working with another dog?
When your trainer is training or walking another dog, your dog will be securely confined in a crate, pen or loose in a dog proofed room. They will be provided puzzle toys and other enrichment items for them to enjoy while they wait their turn.
What will they work on?
You will choose one focused training program from the list below. Once they excel in one program, we can change your training focus to a new program.
Our Day training programs
Sit/Down Program
Stay/Wait Program
Focus Program
Loose Leash Program
Mat Settle Program
Anti-Jumping Program
Leave it/Drop it Program
Recall Program
Additional training focuses: Cooperative care, healthy play development, self regulation, basic impulse control, basic manners, confidence building, and more…Just ask!
In all programs we proof each behavior using the below “roadmap to fluency”
How We Track Progress
You will receive daily reports on their training, including what level they are on and the training exercises used to teach them. You will be provided instructional training handouts and video notes of your trainer working with your dog through the day.
Guardians who regularly practice with their dogs at home will see their dog move through these six levels much more quickly than those who do not. People who do not work with their dogs in group classes or private training with find that their dog is able to do skills with us, but do not know how to maintain or execute them in their home environment.

Pro-social or dog-selective (dogs are not forced to interact with other dogs in this program)
Able to see/hear/smell other dogs without feeling stressed
Able to remain calm and comfortable when left alone (while the trainer works with the other dogs in the program)
In good physical health - no limping, coughing, sneezing, vomiting diarrhea
On effective monthly internal flea and tick preventative medicine
Relatively clean (no muddy dogs, please)
Individualized Care
We keep the group size to a maximum of four dogs each day, which means we maintain a ratio of no more than 4:1 (dogs to trainer)
Our team focusses heavily on group compatibility and our preference is for dogs to come on the same days each week. This assists the development of cohesive groups and improves the day camp experience for all the dogs in our care.
Stress Monitoring Policy
At our facility, your dog's wellbeing is our top priority. We closely monitor all dogs for signs of stress and overwhelm throughout their day training sessions. Our experienced staff is trained to recognize subtle behavioral cues that indicate when a dog may not be thriving in our environment.
If we observe signs that your dog is experiencing significant stress or difficulty adjusting, we will contact you to arrange an early pickup. This proactive approach ensures your dog's emotional health is protected and prevents negative associations with training.
Our goal is to create positive learning experiences tailored to each dog's individual needs and comfort level. By maintaining this careful balance, we can help your dog develop confidence and skills in a supportive environment that respects their unique personality and boundaries.
“We attended Puppy 101, which helped us tremendously during the “velociraptor” stage, and now attend Day Training, where our dog is super happy and is getting such good training habits. Trainers work on the specific things we identify as issues at out home, and give us ideas about what to do next. Highly recommend!”
Most dogs attend Day Training once or twice a week on a regular cadence/the same day every week
Half Day sessions start at $85 and drop to $80 when purchased in a package of twelve
Fully Day sessions start at $165 and drop to $160 when purchased in a package of twelve
