We will begin by developing a plan to de-stress your dog’s world using simple and proven management strategies that give you and your dog instant relief. We will help you understand how to meet your dog’s core needs through species-specific enrichment games designed to lower their heart rate and decrease stress hormones. It will seem simple but it’s actually scientific!
This step helps your dog decompress so their brain is more receptive to “cortical remapping”, aka learning new things!
Rewire and Inspire
Rewire negative associations
One of the top reasons dogs behave fearfully or aggressively is because they have formed some kind of negative association with a particular stimulus or event. They have drawn a direct connection that triggers frustration, anger, fear, or protection instincts. This stage of the program will help them form new associations by pairing their trigger with something they love.
This is called counterconditioning and desensitization.

Reactive or fearful dogs tend to have a well-practiced freeze, flight, or fight response when triggered. These habits have proven effective for them in getting out of situations they don’t like. We will show them alternative and calming behaviors are also effective in resolving their conflict.

Dog reactivity training- Amazing client review
This package includes coaching for you and individual tutoring for your dog. You can let your trainer be the master chef while you enjoy the freedoms of sous chef life.
You will get:
ONE 90 minute consultation where you will set training goals with your coach and learn about the foundations of successful behavior modification.
SIX 60 minute follow-up sessions once every other week. During these sessions your trainer will coach you on the skills your spicy pup needs to reach your training goals.
TWELVE 60 minute trainer tutoring sessions twice a week for six weeks. Your trainer will work one on one with your dog to expedite their learning.

Ghost Pupper Package Details:

Expect your pupper to learn at least ten useful life skills REALLY WELL that work to achieve your personal training goals.
At the end of each coaching and tutoring session you will receive written notes and training instructions from your trainer so you know how to carry out your homework between training sessions.
You will also receive video from pupper’s tutoring sessions with their trainer.
This package is great for anyone with a crazy workload, busy families, or folks who simply see the value in giving their pup the best possible chance at relief from their worries.
This is the most comprehensive and effective training program. Studies have shown that pet parents see the most benefit when the trainer is working both one on one with the dog, AND one on one with the human.
Virtual/Remote Training is not available for this package.

The importance of a check-up at the vet
Most behavior problems are fueled by undiagnosed health problems. If your dog is sick, in pain, or suffering from clinical anxiety, their brain will be shut down and they won’t be in the best state for learning. The first step is to get a check-up at the vet. The training we do won’t take hold if we don’t treat underlying health issues first.
*Some severe behavior issues will require a referral to a veterinary behaviorist.
