What You'll Learn
The Purpose of Walks: what walks mean for both you and your dog
Meeting Everyone's Needs: balancing enrichment for your dog with getting from point A to point B
Why Dogs Pull: the natural behaviors behind pulling, and how to work with them
Positive Communication: building a "yes"-based relationship instead of relying on corrections
Reinforcement Strategies: treats and "life rewards" like sniffing opportunities
Essential Skills: leash handling, marker mechanics, and generalizing skills across environments
More Than Just Preventing Pulling
Walking with your dog is a daily chance to build real connection.
Our relationship-centered, positive reinforcement training teaches you to communicate clearly, so you can say "yes" to a wide range of good behaviors. "No" might interrupt something unwanted for a moment, but it doesn't teach your dog what to do instead — saying "yes" does, and it's more fun for both of you.

Walks should be the best part of your day - for both you and your dog!
IMPORTANT:
Does your dog bark, lunge, or show strong prey drive toward other dogs or fast-moving things (bikes, cars, squirrels) on walks?
This class does not address these types of behaviors which are more effectively addressed in our Fear/Reactivity Private Training Program.
