Lauren Kelley, CDBC, KPA-CTP, CBST, CPDT-KA, FFCP

Puppy Training and Socialization, Reactivity/Fear, Aggressive Behavior, Adolescent Behavior, Adult Basic Manners, Puppy Playschool, and Day Training facilitator

Lauren is a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant specializing in helping the guardians of dogs who display aggressive or reactive behaviors like barking, lunging, growling, and snapping; especially large and extra-large breeds, resource guarding cases, and those who need a little extra help navigating vet visits with less stress.

Lauren grew up around dogs her whole life, but it wasn’t until she gained experience in a shelter setting that she realized how much more support and resources are needed in the world of canine behavior.

Going back even further in time, Lauren chose to get a Cane Corso puppy as her first dog as an adult, as her full responsibility. Without having any prior experience with guardian breeds, her Cane Corso, Vetiver, has taught her an immense amount about how genetics can impact a dog’s behavior. This increased Lauren’s skill at advocating for dogs as individuals and getting creative about how to use positive reinforcement effectively, no matter the breed.

With multiple professional certifications and years of hands-on experience, she takes a compassionate, evidence-based approach to behavior modification. Whether you're just getting to know your dog or you're feeling overwhelmed after a tough stretch, she’ll be there to help guide you through it.
