Brie Blakeman is a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant and Certified Professional Dog Trainer serving as the Founder and CEO of Noble Woof Dog Training. She is an active member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the Pet Professional Guild's Shock Free Coalition, demonstrating her commitment to humane, science-based training methods.

Brie's professional career began in the Training and Behavior Department at The Oregon Humane Society, where she developed expertise in both canine training and client education. Her extensive work in the rescue community, combined with her experience raising two Siberian Huskies with behavioral challenges, has equipped her with specialized skills for addressing complex cases.

She specializes in behavior modification using ethically applied behavioral analysis, with particular expertise in dog reactivity, cooperative care for veterinary and grooming procedures, and helping dogs overcome anxiety in challenging situations. Brie is a graduate of Michael Shikashio's prestigious Aggression in Dogs Master Course and continues her professional development through cooperative care training with Laura Monaco Torelli.

Prior to her career in canine behavior, Brie built a diverse professional background as a circus artist spanning more than a decade. She founded Moon Drop Circus in Kansas City, Missouri, and toured internationally with Wanderlust Yoga Festival, teaching self-discovery and community building through movement and dance.

Brie's training methodology incorporates principles inspired by Relational Psychology. This approach emphasizes the critical importance of communication and connection between dogs and their guardians, reflecting Brie’s holistic perspective on training. This approach draws from her multidisciplinary background in performance, education, and the arts, combined with her ongoing study of behavioral science.

Brie lives with her life partner Caralyn and their four dogs: Yuka, Juno, Coltrane, and Bodhi. When not working with her staff or clients, she enjoys Skijoring, Rally Obedience, and Trick Training with her canine companions. Her eight-year-old husky, Yuka, has earned Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert Trick Dog titles, is currently training for Nose Work competition, and has appeared in commercial work (featured on our TV & Media page).

Brie’s greatest teachers have and will always be the dogs and humans she has the honor of working with every day.
